Work Capability Assessment - what to expect?
Work Capability Assessment - what to expect?
Hi, I've had chronic cluster headaches, chronic migraine and menieres disease for many years but only needed ti start claiming benefits after my husband left me and my children.
I get four cluster headaches a day minimum (every day) plus migraines thrown in and the effects of menieres. I'm in Universal Credit & signed off my my GP for 4 months at a time. I completed the WCA for the DWP & received a text message this morning reminding me to attend my assessment next week (no details of where or what happens etc).
Can anyone explain what happens please? What do they look at, do you have to "perform" etc? They clearly can't see the pain from CCH or the vertigo/spins from Menieres so what do they expect?
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thank you. Katy xx
