You're finally back! Yay! XD
It's going to take me a while to get used to the new system and lay-out.
A quick question to speed my customisation:
How do I get rid of that REALLY annoying 'AddThis' widget permanently?
I've only been using the forum about an hour and I've had to hide it a million times. I'm not one of the most patient people when it comes to these Godless, infernal machines, and if it sticks it's face out many more times I'm going to just end up putting my fist through another laptop screen.
It's taken me 6 cigarettes and 3 coffees to stay calm enough to make this post.
Thankyou in advance.

Wish I knew, my problem is putting in matching passwords but then being told not enough variation. I tried this fgdheru4u5% and was told not enough variations. I guess things will be sorted out over the next few weeks.

As if the headaches aren't enough to drive you insane, everything to do with the web seems designed to push you over the edge
(after dragging you to the edge, bound & gagged with duct tape).
Browsers have all these add-ons for pop-up blockers, Ad-blockers, I can even block 'site fluff', but that side-scrolling, sharing-site block of happiness is still sticking it's annoying face in mine.
(Password: Use a couple of capital letters too
).
phil what browser are you using ?
I am using chrome browser with "adblockplus" and "DoNotTrackMe" add-ons. I am finding the forum working ok with no pop ups widgets etc.
We've hidden the Add This widget on all the forum pages
You can also turn it off in your account settings:
www.ouchuk.org/user - click edit
Scroll down to Block Configuration and uncheck the box Add This Smart Layers - and save. That should get rid of it from the whole site.
We can remove it completely but it is a useful tool for quick sharing on social media - so the option to remove it gives the best of both worlds
Thankyou Lena.
Managed to adjust my settings as described and...
AddThis Gone!
Woo Hoo!
Attempted to edit the configuration on my smart phone first;
it didn't survive the ordeal.
But the laptop is no longer cowering in the corner......for now.
