had a lovely Easter Day, Rod had the day off, he brought me a couple of pretty plants for the garden, as I'd said I didn't want an Easter egg - I got him the undiscovered Johnny Cash album and a chocolate bunny! We had our son and friends over for dinner and polished off an enormous roast beef dinner and then played an hilarious game of cards. Good food, good friends and good fun!
Hope everyone else had a good easter, lets hope the weather picks up again - we've had rain today.
Dorothy, thank you for lovely virtual Easter card.
That sounds lovely Val! We had an Easter egg hunt first thing for the littlies and then the usual crowd came for Sunday lunch. I drank a glass of wine whilst cooking it and managed not to burn anything in the process. My sidekick Dave did a fine job of the peeling. A lovely family day. The boys dashed off to play two gigs. One at 4 and the other in the evening. Times have changed. The twins (now 18) headed out of the door after the "boys" to attend both gigs!
I must've done everything satisfactorily as granddaughter wished she could start the day all over again
Oh - and a lovely bonus to the whole thing - I'm still in remission! I'd expected to be headed back "in" a month ago...
Thank you Dorothy for posting that lovely Easter card .
Wishing you all a happy Easter
Elma.
