"Do I have CH?"
Ouch(uk) is interested in hearing from anyone who has used the link on our website headed, "Do I have CH?" Did anyone find that the link was helpful in pointing you in the right direction towards a confirmed diagnosis. We would very much like to hear views from anyone who has used the link,and encourage those of you who haven't,to give it a whirl and give us some feedback. Yes, you pretty much saved my life! My ex partner used this site to get in touch with Mr Goadsby. He then referred her to a hospital in Walthamstow where one of his.... Interested colleagues worked. If I hadn't then seen her, I honestly don't think I'd be alive today. That might sound dramatic but it isn't. I thought I had a brain tumor. I had given up and accepted the fact that at some random moment my head was going to just give up and that'd be the end. That was about 15 years ago. So here I am, living a reasonably normal life. Take meds every day, and still inject occasionally but not that often. I went through years of pain to get where I am and it's not even that difficult to assess. Did this site help.... It stopped me killing myself and gave me hope. That turned into normal life...Thank you so so much
Wow Mark, I think the doctor you saw at Walthamstow was the same one who wrote info for the Migraine Trust on CH and it was sent to me as I desperately tried to find out what was wrong with me. It included the advice line number of OUCH and I made the most important call of my life that number and like you, without doubt, I would not be here without the help and support I have had from OUCH.
