Can you describe what you mean by this, David?

Hi David, What i mean by that is when i have tried the oxygen while having a headache it does not seem to work for me as quickly compared to Sumatriptan!  whether or not i am giving it long enough i do not know?  how long do you inhale the oxygen for before  you notice any improvement in condition? Thanks David

Hi David53

Do you have a demand valve? This aborts attacks very much faster. It's usually about 20 minutes on high flow oxygen but a demand valve cuts this down to 6 minutes in my experience. It depends on whether you can get it in your area. Check with your 02 supplier.

Good luck.

Hello.  For me, Sumatriptan injection is the most useful treatment for an attack.  However, this is generally prescribed at a maximum of two per day ... and I can have up to 8 attacks in a day.   Oxygen tends to work in 5-15 minutes and is useful as an alternative.
