Taking Sumatripan through security at airports

Is it just me ? I never used to have any problems taking injections through security, now i do and it seems to be getting worse. I fly from Manchester Airport and they are just getting impossible. Each time I fly they want me to do different things so I cannot ever be prepared. The last time took the biscuit, my tray got diverted and i had to open a box of sumatripan (pharma) and  slide out the plastic tray and then the securtiy woman took them out and handled them and wiped them down with swabs, I was too shocked to do anything. I still havn't got over it

Aybody elese had problems?

Hi Susi, I've never had this problem but did anticipate this when I had a work trip to the USA. My neuro specialist produced a letter for me that I take along with the injections so I can produce the letter to avoid a prolonged conversation about what they are for and whether they are needed etc. An additonal point would be that the 6mg injection would clearly be less than the 10ml items when this was the max to carry in a clear bag - I never saw them swab every 10ml shampoo's!
