Successful PIP Tribunal

This post is from me and Paul W. We went to Paul's PIP Tribunal this week, he won the appeal and was given the maximum award. Capita and the DWP had given him 1 point, the Tribunal gave him 15 points for Daily Living and 12 points for mobility........

Paul spent the Hearing in a private room, on oxygen, having a full on Cluster Attack. The Tribunal went to the room to see him rather than expose him to the lighting in the courtroom.

Paul really hopes this news will encourage other chronic sufferers not to be deterred from pursuing what they are entitled to!

Harriet & Paul...This is fantastic news...everyone should fight for what CCH'rs deserve and be willing to carry on until they get the correct result.

Thanks to Harriet's help and wonderful support, many of us are making the system take note of our disability.

One thing i find a great help in public especially in shops is the trusty ouch card as soon as you show it the odd looks change to concern which breaks down barriers don't leave home without it now still have my old blue one aswell though it's a bit tatty Smile
