I have been working my way through the National Formulary over the last few years and Epilim is one of the things I have tried on the way.
It made me so spaced-out that all I wanted to do was sit in the dark listening to Pink Floyd. I couldnt get anywhere near the theraputic dose because of this and had to give up after a few weeks, so for this reason only it was a failure. If I had been able to stick with it, I may have got through this side-effect and seen some benefit, but I couldnt concentrate at work and as I had very unsympathetic employers, I had no choice.
Having said this, I do tend to have severe cognitive problems with almost everything, so it may not affect you at all.
Did nothing for my CH except space me out a bit. My husband has epilepsy and he takes epilim and he controls his grand mal seizures brilliantly, but then that is what it is designed for.
