prescriptions

Our GP practice has a rule no prescriptions issued for more than a month at a time, prev GP in different area renewal was every three months much better and gave double when we moved.

Here is my question next year I may go abroad on a four month trip, where do I stand if GP will not give four months worth.

David, just speak to him/her and explain the situation. I'm sure you will be fine.

Agree with Colin, I was in Aus for three months last year and my surgery has the same rule as yours, but when I explained there was no problem at all, they gave me whatever I needed.  One point, do give them plenty of notice if they dispense for you, they'll need to get in extra supplies to the usual.

Val. ;)
