T’ Interweb is awash with negative experiences of the benefits process. I suppose its only natural to write about what’s gone wrong. So here’s something different....
I got the ESA re-Assessment form back in July 2016 sent it off with LOADS of evidence, and help from OUCH and then had a nerve-wracking 6 month wait for the F-2-F.
It wasn’t the most pleasant experience, but the doctor (a cardiologist!), was concerned and reasonable. Today I have been told that I am to stay in the Support Group with an 18-month award.
I’m posting this for anyone going through the process and who has been reading horror stories, to say that the Jobcentre can ‘get it right’. They can only make decisions based on the evidence before them, so DO send in medical letters and DO get assistance with filling in the form, either from OUCH, CAB or one of the other charities.
I'm going to relax now. *drinks*
Positive Review of the Jobcentre... for a change!
