Dear All,
unfortunately, besides my CH, I also suffer from a moderate to severe depression. However, all antidepressants (medication) I found work on the serotonine system - as the triptans do. Consequently, they mutually exclude each other.
Do you know of any anti-depressants which can be taken alongside triptans?

There are definitely different chemical groups of anti deppressants. The SSRIs are a newer group and I believe have become the most usual starting point because they have generally less side effects. There are also the Tryciclics which are an older group and I believe there are others as well. Whether they all work through impacting serotonin I am not sure, but hopefully the medics will be!
