Hello Simon

Cluster headache, even in its episodic form, is a disability, a case in the Employment Law says so, Hood v London Clubs Management 2002.  As such your employer has to make certain adjustments to assist you to be able to carry out your work, also any absences from work for CH must be recorded separately from any other absences for sickness.  This is all detailed in the Equality & Human Rights Commission , Disability section, here:  https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/en/advice-and-guidance/disability-di...

Also, the disabled section of the  Equality Act, 2010 is here: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2010/15/schedule/1

If you are having difficulties and need help, if you private message me with your phone number and where you are at with regard to your disciplinary hearings/meetings, I can forward them on to The Brain Charity, a national charity who support sufferers of all neurological diseases and can offer assistance in areas such as employment matters and benefits applications.

Hope this helps
