Cocaine abuse sumatriptan

Hi All

I have been a sufferer of chronic CH’s for a few years often taking Sumatriptan injections 90% of the time to relive the pain.

I have never really been a user of cocaine prior however every time I have a serous 2-3 day episode I get the most body craving urge to take cocaine and offten give in and take a gram.

Has any other surfers come across this?

I am making an appointment with my GP however I wanted to chat directly to suffers too.

kind regards

Chris

Hi Chris,

I'm actually in shock reading this as I found myself in the EXACT same position as you not so long ago and honestly thought I'd be the only person on this Earth ever to feel like that!

I'll PM you mate with my experience with this as it's quite personal.

Take care.
Ryan

Hi Chris apart from dabbling when i was a teen, coke has never been my tipple. Couple of years ago at a mates 50th birthday i was wracked with pain in his spare room while the party was in full swing, having nothing to lose i crawled down stairs and got my mate to set a huge line up for me, low and behold it was a godsend it was immediate relief. Nothing has worked in past so i asked my neurologist about it and she said cocaine has triptans in it just like the nasal sprays. I came home and tried coke for 2 weeks and had total relief. I did put this down to the cocaine numbing the trigeminal nerve through the nasal cavity.Just like a dentist uses it to numb patients teeth. Only trouble was after two weeks the pain came back kept trying coke but it seemed to have reversed and started actually making the pain worse so i gave up on that as iv enough problems without my nose falling off lol. Hope this helps someone
