I am currently awaiting a Synacthen test to confirm suspected Addison's Disease (or at least secondary adrenal suppression) and it got me thinking two things...
Are there any other CHers out there who also have an autoimmune disorder? And if so, is there any direct effect on your CH? My CH pattern has been all over place since my adrenal symptoms have kicked off, with a much more intense background headache than usual.

a few years back while a patient in QS had a test for this [collected 24 hours worth of urine] proved negative.
if you suspect immune problems and have severe headaches get checked that you do not have hughes syndrome, I was sent ages ago by GP to st thomas in London for blood test to eliminate it.
I awaiting tests at present on immune problems as I am getting very painful joints.

They are 99% sure it is Addison's disease. I've had a lot of IV steroid in the last week, after having adrenal crisis.

Chloe I'm so sorry you have this to deal with on top of everything else. You have such great plans this year - I just hope you can get on a treatment plan that helps you to live your life to the fullest.
