Anyone have hearing problems following CH?

I posted this on Facebook, but posting here too.
Has anyone ever experienced any problems with their hearing following a severe attack?
Two weeks ago, I had a really severe CH in the early hours, (I get SUNCT/CH attacks every night) had sumatriptan then woke in the morning part deaf in my LEFT ear.  Went to GP and was told to use olive oil for a week, did that with no improvement in hearing, went back and was given mometasone nasal spray, used that for a week, no improvement.  Was planning to go back to GP on Monday, but I had another severe CH at 3am friday, then woke in the morning part deaf in my RIGHT ear!
Called 111 and been advised to just go back to my GP in the next 3 working days because they have all my notes about sunct and CH etc.

You made it Tony!  Glad you got your post on here.   And I'd say not only going back to your GP, but also going back to your headache neuro, this deafness coming and going is a bit unusual.  My hearing has got slowly worse in my right ear and the volume of the tinnitus has increased, I'm having tests shortly for that, it has never come and gone like yours appears to.

Val.
