Advice

Hi All,

I am on 960mg of Verapermil daily and have also recently received a nerve block injection. Despite this I am still getting up to 10 headaches per day lasting 30 min with unbelievable pain. Can anyone recommend any alternative treatments or the name of any Pain Specialist that I could be referred to.

And you might have something different to CH, so talking to someone who can ask you about your headaches, symptoms, length and number of attacks etc, might point you in the right direction and also they can tell you who is your nearest neurologist who specialises in headache disorders.

Make that call, or e-mail on helpline@ouchuk.org

You might also be using the incorrect Verapamil. Make syre its not SR (Slow Release) or MR (Modified Release) GP's, Cemists and some specialists mis-prescribe them
