Failed...and falling apart
Hmm..unfortunately you got no points for disability. .this is what I received from atos. Chronic cluster headache,chronic migraine,back a neck pains,anxiety disorder and so forth..but failed...so helpless and depressed I feel...please help me thank you all..God bless

Tomorrow, suggest you contact www.thebraincharity.org.uk. They support sufferers of all neurological disease throughout the UK with issues such as benefits applications and employment issues. They will be able to assist you with the appeal process. Most applications are refused on first application , they hope you will give up and go away, but an increasing number are appealing successfully.

Hang on in there, this behaviour from the benefits system is hideous, and it is absolutely devastating to experience being treated this way. However, you are not alone in this experience and a number of CCHers have won through from no points to a full award.
The first thing you need to do is call the DWP PIP phone number and request a copy of the ATOS HP report to the DWP. Once you have that you will know exactly what has been said about you and your CCH etc, and be able to begin the process of challenging it. Do this ASAP because it takes a week or so to come through. Request it immediately and if it isn't through a week later, call and make another request just in case. There isn't time to waste.

So sorry that they knocked you back, how cruel. I had an assessment about a month ago, have cch and chronic migraine and have been awarded PIP for the next 5 years so it can work out . You must appeal and need to always emphasise how you are at your worst. My daughter came with me, I took my oxygen cylinder and was very poorly so they saw the whole horrible wall hugging, ear plugs in , lights turned down scenario. I also went online to see how they score points and tailored mine and my daughters answers to meet these. You are much more likely to get the payment if you appeal, don't let them beat you, you deserve this support. All the best
