Pregnancy and safe treatments
Just wondering if anyone has knowledge about how safe Frovatriptan is during pregnancy? I currently take both sumatriptan injections when an attack hits and Frovatriptan tablets morning and night when in cluster as more of a preventative (as prescribed by neuro). I'm aware this is a lot of triptan but it's what keeps my clusters under wraps for the most part. There isn't much research that I can find into Frovatriptan specifically so just wondered if anyone had any experience? Thank you kindly!

copied from an earlier post:
"... regular use of Frovatriptan does lower its halflife so for each continued days usage it often drops its effectiveness by half.
Day 1 - 12+ hours effective (per tablet)
Day 2 - 8 hours effective (per Tablet)
Day 3 - 6 Hours
Day 4 - 3 Hours"
That regime, in my opinion, has probably rendered your Frovatriptan ineffective by now anyway.
Twice daily?? I'd have serious concerns if a neurologist prescribed that to me.
