New too this & have questions

Hi, I'm issy im 22 and 30 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I've been in hospital for the past week as I've been having really bad headaches. These have been going on for 2 weeks but because I am a bit of wuss I never got it checked. Anyway after so many different diagnoses and scans and tests, a neurologist has finally brought it down to cluster headaches.

never have I heard of cluster headaches before but I'm sure I'll never forget now!
the problem I'm having is because I'm pregnant all I'm able to do is "ride out the pain" with paracetamol until the baby is here. However it's easier said then done when you don't have what seems like drills getting drilled into your temples every day multiple times a day. They won't be able to treat me until next year.

im really struggling with the pain and struggling generally as it's effecting everyday life, I can't even work anymore and I work in a busy retailer.

has anyone got any advice or tips on how I can help the headaches when they come on? I'm so scared that this will continue when my baby's here and I won't be able to care for him like I should :(

please help!!

Hello issy, you sound very young to have cluster headaches, but if that's what you have then I feel for you. Fresh air and oxygen is the first step, (I am new as a subscriber but I've followed this for a few years, I'm going to write my story soon).

my next advice is to find the spot in the back of your neck to compress/massage. I have found other alternatives that don't involve drugs but it might only be applicable to the basic life form as a man....(masturbate, as it interferes with the nervous system).... I will blog...
