Lions "Message in a bottle"

I know several woman wear medic alert gear, well what if your a man you certainly do not want to wear a neckless or bracelet.

Well I have seen the answer and its free. The Lions charity are handing out small plastic tubs that contain a form with all your medical and contact details. We got ours free from the local medical centre, I presume  most medical centres have them. If not here is a link to their web.

we keep one for each of us in our camper, so its with us where ever we go.

[took a little while to work out how to post a link, you need the blue icon on the bar of the diaogue box and paste the link to it]

Jewelry's down to personal choice. Nothing effeminate about Mr T. Smile
The pot is okay if there was a medical emergency near the fridge, but it won't be loaded into the back of an ambulance if you're in a traffic accident.
The St. Christopher talisman is well established in the medical world.

phil is mt T the big character in the A team?, if it is, a good point, depends on your culture I suppose. We both have medical problems so in the event of any of us needing urgent treatment the other can acess the info easily. We go everywhere together so unless we are both KO'd together should be alright.

I have long thought about medic alert, but was never keen to wear jewllery, a watch and wedding ring is my limit.

I know what you mean. Had my ear pierced for my 30th birthday, but it wasn't "me".
I don't wear jewelry either, but, just personal choice.
It may be an idea to carry a card or something to point a paramedic to the pot?
Just in case.

Hey Folks

I am sure that I have seen medic alert rubber bracelets like the charity bracelets you get. A much more subtle choice!

If you want something specific, this company will custom make bands for you...

If there is enough interest, perhaps we could get some done as a fundraiser?

Cheers

Chris
