Demand Valve HELP!

Hello, apologies if there is already a similar post.

I have been suffering with CH for about 5 years now. I have had oxygen for 3 years which makes the world of difference to my life. I am in the Bucks area and my provider is Dolby Vivisol, they have only recently started supplying the demand valve system, I contacted my oxygen nurse who advised to call them direct. When speaking to Dolby they state that they will not provide me with one as I do not use enough oxygen, even after the nurse spoke with them and suggested I have one.  (I go through about 5 big and 3 small cylinders a month)

Any advice or previous experience with Dolby on how to get them to provide one?

Thanks.

Have you spoken to anyone senior at Dolby? I ask as sometimes it can depend on who you talk to.  If they are supplying the DV they should let you have it.  You can of course buy one but they are expensive.  Give the Advice Line a call 01646 651979 and we can give you the details or email adviceline@ouchuk.org

I was contacted directly by the hospital to offer me the demand valve, and it works so much better for me, plus my oxygen last longer. I'm not sure if this helps. I am covered by NHS Wales .
