Bell's Palsy
Anyone heard of a connection between CH and Bell's Palsy.
On Saturday morning at 1.00 am I was woken with one of the worst CH I have ever experienced. When I got up at 7.00 am one side of my face had dropped. My GP says I have Bell's Palsy but does not know of a link with CH.

Hi Peter,
Personally I have not come across a link with CH and Bell’s Palsy. Have a word with your Neurologist for their take on this!
take care
Liz
As Liz says not heard of a link between CH and Bell's palsy, but sometimes sufferers can get a similar facial reaction during attacks called Horner's syndrome, sometimes also called Horton's syndrome.
Val.
Thanks for the comments Liz & Val. I will look into this.
I have now seen the ENT department and they suspect a 'Acoustic Neuroma' which is a growth behind the inner ear at the base of the brain. Having an MRI next week. Same question again - anyone know anything about a link between this and CH.
