Emgality, Lilley. NICE refusal.

Has anyone had this? Does it work? Is it available in the UK?

Just reading about this from ClusterBusters site. I am a little bit enthusiastic about it.

So it looks as if Nice have deemed this treatment as not effective enough! Again money is a barrier against CH sufferers gaining any relief from this awful condition.

If just one of the board members of nice were to experience CH just once they would soon change their tune. Or maybe they can just afford it and to heck with us plebs.

I agree with you Paul R

As there is a contraindication for Imigran in patients with coronary artery disease then Emgality could be very beneficial for those CH sufferers given that it is a monoclonal antibody rather than a pure vasoconstrictor.

Good Luck with your CH manangement. I am an episodic sufferer but fortunately over 1 year cluster free currently.
