Another fantastic fundraiser for OUCH (UK)
FROM BUPA UK (COLLINGWOOD COURT CARE HOME):
Our very own Home Manager, Corin will be taking part in the London Marathon 2019 in order to raise money for OUCH (UK) - Cluster Headaches, a charity close to his heart. OUCH UK helps provide support for sufferers of Cluster Headaches (also known as suicide headaches).
There is no cure for this condition and there is very limited treatment available. There are many sufferers not receiving a correct diagnosis from their GP’s and therefore they are not getting signposted for appropriate care and support.

RIDE LONDON 100 MILES CORIN RIDOUT. Well done to Corin Ridout! He completed the Ride London yesterday, bringing his current fundraising total (after completing the London Marathon earlier in the year, plus yesterday's marathon ride achievement) to £625 with one more event to go - the Swim Serpentine 2 mile event on 21st September. What made yesterday even greater was that he had 4 people pull up alongside him to ask what Cluster Headaches were and one man at the start who approached him as he is a sufferer himself. Thank you so much, Corin for this and for the invaluable spreading of awareness. I really hope the sufferer in 5 years remission will have peace for a lot longer!
