On holiday with CH
On holiday with CH
So next week is my first holiday abroad since being diagnosed with CH.
I'm very nervous as I will be sharing a room with my daughter and if I get an attack I don't want to freak her out. At the moment she has only seen the aftermath as she hears mum pacing the floor in the middle of the night and uses her injection and then she knows in the morning it's been a bad night.
Doe's anyone have any tips either on not panicing my daughter during an attack or travelling abroad with CH?
I used to be afraid of flying, now I'm just afraid of sleeping !!!

If you go into the menu - get support, then downloads, you'll find holiday hints. Frovatriptan is a great back up but only 2 triptans allowed in 24 hours. Frova stays in the body 26 hours so is good cover for a short period of time. If used for too long it loses its efficacy.
Happy holidays!

Hi. Does acupuncture have any effect?
John
Apologies, this was meant to be a new post not connected with your holiday post.
Not as far as I'm aware John. I tried it myself some years ago but it made no difference to me. What treatments have you tried?
