PIP decisions

Hi Guys,

I have just sent off my PIP application. I've been doing alot of research on PIP when it comes to CH and it seems that everybody is on different rates of PIP or not even getting it at all, when these people all seem to be suffering a similar amount of pain and issues.

Why does there seem to be such a variation? Does anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

Ryan

The variaton is possibly because the DWP don't appear to evaluate sufferers of identical conditions for whatever health condition they have.  Their decision is based on the assessment done with the applicant, and the questions asked at that assessment are based on the answers to the original application form.  So as no two people will fill in the form in an identical fashion, or answer the face to face assessment questions in the same way, therefore there is no uniform decision.

Cluster headache is the closest thing to a designer disease, no two people suffer in exactly the same way; the only common factor is the excruciating pain.

Val.
