beast is back

2 day's of zero vaping far from feeling sickly not so achey a lot more ommphh pfftz n much less ouch hehe covered about 4 miles walking home worked up such a sweat that I'm now left grieving because my lovely clean t shirt needs another spin in the wash due to the ghastly looking sweat patch on the back and i stink advantage of living alone is no one has to suffer my bodily odours except me Wink

No rivers no not on the common part from a 2 fishing pond's and 1 I'm not sure what they use it for now Smile have battersea bridge quite near by but I'm an introvert inside n out n proud of it to so my ideal walk would be with someone i care much about hand in hand with just a night sky full of star's and a new moon I'm good though finally worked out what was making me groggy have to find a way to not do it easier said than done seems more of an effort to quit than cigarettes or tobacco will manage though as would rather not use vaping or e cigarettes and not feel icky sick Wink

Yes, I get the puffy temple- left side only. If I touch it, I can feel something pulsing.

I also want to gouge my eye out and wonder, if I could  bore a hole in my forehead  just above  that painful notch on the inner corner,  it would ease the pressure and let the pain out.J)

Beast has gone to bed for now still not sure what breed of beast he is although sometimes the pain level is excruciating rarely goes above 5ish or 6 if that and though they're one sided which can alternate between attacks they last much of or all day and most times lift by the evening

Severity of pain and the length of each attack also how my headaches I'm getting now start and the fact i can sleep when I'm getting them awaiting to hear from the doctor at the migraine clinic ti get back to me with his outcome. Not sure how long it takes but I'm a little bit more relaxed he thinks that the oxygen will help and perhaps tripitlynes think that's the spelling Smile also some bp meds may help with migraine to.Having a little trouble getting the oxygen though but no idea how long it usually takes to get it delivered gp is meant to have filled out the hoof form for me about 2 weeks ago now and something about working out how long i will have to use it for so far not received any oxygen to my door.

Very glad that someone seems to be looking into it properly for you.

Have to say being able to sleep with them doesn't sound like ch! Does your eye get inflamed and teary though?

No just my right eye feels teary all the time but think it's probably something to do with indoors air quality or maybe the gch don't like central heating reckon it makes us ill

Still, make sure the medics know that the right eye feels teary all the time, there seem to be quite a number of people with a mixture of headache types, getting both migraine and clusters.

Good luck with it all and keep us posted with how you get on. Which neuro do you see?

Very odd about referring you to an epilepsy specialist instead of a headache one. I have heard very good things about Dr Matharu and he is an expert in complicated headache problems. He has published a good number of scientific papers with Proff Goadsby over the years. Is it worth seeing what comes of the Dr Matharu referral first since you are already halfway there? And then maybe moving on if you aren't satisfied ...?

Does anyone else on the forum have experience/knowledge of Dr Matharu?

I've seen dr matharu a few times in the past when i had clusters and prof goadsby was the 1st guy i saw at queens not that i don't appreciate dr matharu just that from where i live to queens square if I'm in beast mode on day of my appointment kings is a whole lot nearer to me and the bus there is directly over the road

When i say thing's are getting half done i still have the abdominal distension but I'm in a position where if i mention it to gp I'm made to feel like it's very trivial and nothing more than wind when I'm quite sure it's not not found a doctor who can differentiate between bloating distension or pain and discomfort quite different thing's

Ah, that all makes a lot of sense - re the specialists I mean. Good to hear that Dr M is good, but of course if someone else is nearer that is much better.

A difference with migraine without aura seems to be that even walking around or doing stuff indoors makes it worse can just about handle indoors but the going out when I'm in full swing is where i conflict with family n friends on a good day may have the energy to go out local even a bus ride away on a bad day indoors is best i can manage and as the migraines seem a little more constant 1 thing I'm not easy with is going out in busy periods later on in the day or rush hour's or doctors waiting rooms bright lights n crowded something i can't get through to my gp or family m friends had my telephone appointment today and ended in being given n appointment first for Monday the 14th an evening appointment then for Friday the 17th a better time for me at 10.20am but 2 week's away and a long wait with no treatment is it worth going in first thing tomorrow morning with my migraine clinic report and asking for a prescription based on that if i can get the requested medication off that waiting a while longer for the o2 isn't a problem

the planets are lining up this week causing a greater pull, as well as extra high tide surges aalong the east coast may affect people prone to migraine.
