Are you on a water meter?
Since moving to an area covered by southern water our water bills have almost doubled as various companies vary in charges.
Anyway while have a moan on the phone to souther water. I was asked if anyone has a medical condition where they might use more water than normal. I explained CCH having to change clothes and bed linen more frequent because of the sweating with clusters. They are now sending me forms to complete. They will then cap our water meter to a set amout and any usage above this cap will not be charged. Not aware of full details yet but not seen this info before and found out by chance.

I'll be honest David, when I saw the title of your thread, I thought what has a water meter got to do with CH? I take back that thought and have to say what a useful thing to know! I'd never thought about our water usage being heightened as a CH sufferer! Thank you David, I'll see about suggesting it on FB too and in Chit Chat.
took ages but suthern water have capped my water meter for medical reasons once it reaches a set level no charges for any usage above that reading.
they wanted a doctors letter, a completed medical form describing how being hot and sweaty with clusters and cold bathes uses extra water.
