Hi all

I wonder if you can help me. I currently use sumartriptan nasal sprays that on a different post somebody kindly pointed out about injections and oxygen treatment. I have been in touch my doctor about both of these today and she has given me a prescription for the injections and we have discussed the oxygen.

She asked me a few questions about the oxygen including the amount that needs to be administered and how this should be done but I think these questions have all been answered on the HOOF forms which have been partially filled in. The only question I have is does the oxygen have a life as I am probably (hopefully!) coming to an end of a bout and I may not need the treatment for a few months. Does the oxygen need to be used within a short space of time? If so, I am probably better leaving it for a little while so that I have this ready for my next bout…

Many thanks in anticipation.

Matt

Hello Matt

You will find that somewhere on the cylinders is a use by date, usually about three years hence.
