Chronic AND episodes?

I have had chronic CHs for nearly 3 years, I was episodal for 7 years before.

but recently I am wondering if it's possible to have episodes that are more frequent and intense on to of chronics..... If that makes sense?

whilst being chronic, (can't use verapamil, cos of heart murmer) I have periods of time when I seem to manage the pains ... But then I kind of lose control and it just goes mad again! Different times, different sides of head, more intense (I've had 3x K9s this week) ... Now as I say, I have assumed this to be, me losing control, maybe being out of synch or something.... But then it occurred to me, that maybe, these episodes are in fact episodal a on top of chronics.

what does anyone else think?

Melody, over the years we have many reports of "cycles within cycles" The rule with cluster headaches are there no rules.

Yes Mike, thanx. I realise now that this is what I'm trying to describe, cycles on top of chronic. I think I need to be more savvy with identifieing the triggers.
