Hello there

My husband has been in his current bout since Feb with constant twice daily attack so he has been using 2 x Zomig Nasal since then a day.  He has got injections now to use if he wants, but they make no difference to timings of getting rid of it.  Just in the last month he is taking longer to get rid of attacks now they are constant.  The pain comes back after 2 hours and he is trying not to take three doses in one day.  Any suggestions we see consultant in two weeks when he will be on full dosage of Gabapentin.  He has tried Topirimate, Pred taper which usually works has not, cant take Verapamil as he was Bradicardic and has taken it 15 years. Tried GONB twice has not worked. He spent all night on Oxygen.  Any suggestions of what we should try and ask for we see Mr Ahmed at Hull.

Hi Starfish,

So sorry to hear about what your husband is suffering. Please give the Helpline a call and leave a message and someone will get back to you 01646 651979.  You will be able to talk to a fellow sufferer for some great advice.  There are a lot of questions here that would be easier to go through if you were able to speak to someone.  Hang in there and make that call!

take care

Liz
