Pete Howson will be running the Vrnwy Half Marathon on 13th September to raise awareness about Cluster Headaches. In Pete's own words:
"Please donate anything you can to help OUCH UK help more people like me! But only if you can afford it. Cluster headaches are considered the most painful medical condition. Patients rate it as significantly more painful than childbirth, kidney stones, gunshot wounds, and bone fractures. Standard painkillers don't help. 20 years ago, I was in a terrible place with my headaches. But I found OUCH UK and they probably saved my life. They connected me with the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery. There's no cure yet, but thanks to OUCH UK, I'm still alive and managing better! If you can afford it, please help OUCH UK make everyone suffering with cluster headaches better!"
