I have suffered with CH since i was a teenager and i have been very fortunate to have not had an episode in the last 12 year until this week and its knocked me for six completely .

I don't have anything properly wise to say but the idea of that happening (I imagine you'd presumed them gone) fills me with horror. I hope you're okay and maybe something has changed regarding treatment in those years?

I was not on preventatives as they never worked for me however I am willing to try them again and fortunately the gp I spoke to this week was so helpful and aware of CH (complete change to when I was first suffering)
Can't think of the reason why they have come back but it really was a complete shock which is why I rejoined OUCH as I was a part of this very friendly community back then and it was an invaluable support network

Hi Kara
So sorry to hear that. I hope your GP sorts you out with oxygen (and a demand valve if available in your area). If GP is CH aware I'm sure he's probably prescribed sumatriptan injections.
