Cluster Headache Survey. Research volunteers needed!
** STUDY NOW ENDED **
Your chance to tell us what it’s like to live with cluster headache!
OUCH is taking part in an exciting new research study looking at how cluster headache affects peoples’ day-to-day lives and how it impacts on overall quality of life. We are working in partnership with a pharmaceutical company who are funding the research, Professor PJ Goadsby from King’s College Hospital, London, who is our research consultant, and an international not-for-profit research organization, RTI Health Solutions (RTI-HS) who are conducting the research.
The study involves:
- Completing an online survey that will include background questions about you (e.g., your age, gender), and questions about the frequency and duration of your cluster headaches as well as questions about the impact cluster headache has on different aspects of your day-to-day life, including your quality of life and work life.
- The survey will take up 25 minutes to complete.
The information you give will raise scientific awareness of what it is like to live with cluster headache. The study results will also be used to support the value of potential new drug treatments for cluster headache in the UK, by providing information that decision-makers can use to decide whether new drugs should be available to cluster headache patients on the National Health Service in England, Wales and Scotland.
