PIP ASSESMENT

Hi EVERYONE,

CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO SET OUT YOUR ILLNESSES IN THE BEST WAY FOR PIP,

UNFORTUNATLYCCH IS NOT MY MAIN ILLNESS KNOW, ALONG WITH THAT i HAVE HAD AN HEART ATTACK, AND BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH

PTSD, MANIC AND BI-POLER DEPRESSION, I HAVE TRIED TO TAKE MY LIFE A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO BUT MY WIFE CAME IN AND CAUGHT ME DRINKING A COCKTAIL, SHE SLAPPED THE GLASS OUT OF MY HAND, I SPENT 2DAYS IN HOSPITAL ASLEEP (BEST IN ABOUT 15YEARS) I AM GOING TO GET LETTERS FROM MY GP, NEURO, BUT UNFORTUNATLY MY PHSYCIATRIST ABANDONED ME TO BECOME HEAD OF THE BMC [NICE AYE] AND I ONLY HAVE MY GP LETTER AND Dr T , AND NO NEW PHSYCIATRIST

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO

HAVE BEEN TAKEN OFF MY MEDS SINCE AUGUST, JUST TO EXPLAIN A LITTLE

Hi Brian,

Very sorry to hear just how many tough illnesses you are contending with.

Re PIP: from my husband and a number of other CCHers I have gained quite a lot of knowledge about applying for PIP, the relevant points for those with CH, how the system is supposed to work, and what to do when it doesn't behave the way it should.

I have been meaning to write up some notes that might help people with CH making PIP applications, and seeing your post has kick started me into typing up something that I hope to be able to email to you in a couple of days.
