Hull10k June 19th
Hi all,
I am a CCH sufferer and having turned 50 decieded to have a mid life crisis and stop smoking and start running again (its been awhile). I am running the Hull 10k on June 19th and raising some money for Ouch at the same time, presently £440. If any one is in the Hull on the 19th June to either compete or watch then i will be wearing the very fetching OUCH bright red tshirt and would be nice to say hello so dont be strangers ! I will be running with my sumatriptan injector just incase, not being a pesimist just good planning !!

Excellent way to mark the big five-0! Well done on kicking smoking too. This should be on our facebook page and group - how about a photo in your OUCH shirt and we can get it put on. Have you got a Virgin moneygiving fundraising page we can share to the facebook page/group?
Cheers

Well done. My midlife crisis involved stopping running and starting smoking (again) so I have great admiration for you.
Perhaps any fundraising link can also be put on the Forum for those of us that do not use Facebook?

Yes, we want you all over the place!
Hi Dorothy,
I have updated the OUCH facebook page with the link and some details on why I am doing this. I will get some photos on the day with me suitably dressed in the OUCH t shirts that I am running in. I will keep you all posted on what I am doing.

Thank you John, that'll be great! I'll have a look to see what you've put on facebook. Can you put the link on here too for the non facebookers? Or I can do it if you like.
Best wishes
Dorothy

Good luck John!
Well done John! And to have achieved a PB time must have added to the adrenaline rush at the finish! Thank you so much for doing this for us!

Congratulations to John McKindland who completed the Hull 10k in aid of OUCH UK, achieving a new PB of 01:01:58 - well done! John would like to thank all of his sponsors, he has raised over £500. John is pictured here with his partner Clare who is his invaluable supporter. Thank you John!
That's fantastic £500 in so short a time space, well done!
