Hello

Hello everyone. Just been diagnosed and new to all of this. Been relatively pain free this weekend but have been getting the other symptoms (fuzzy head on the one side, droopy itchy and running eye and blocked nostril) is this what you mean by shadows and how do you deal with them. Also since I've decided to use the nasal spray to start (major needle phobia) how do you know when to take the drugs before its too late?
Thanks for any advice. Hope you're all well

Shadows differ from person to person, but usually anything from a fuzzy head to background headaches.
If you must use the spray, you need to use it as soon as possible.

The nasal spray's use is hampered by blocked nasal passages, and, as it depends mostly on absorption in the gut, gastroparesis slows it's effect the same as any oral triptan.

Hi Trishill7,

you have asked the same question as I have been wondering for a while now. I'm recently diagnosed like yourself although had this pain for over 6 years now such a relief getting a diagnoses but also very confusing.

I have had a continuous headache 24/7 as well as the cluster attacks. Not sure what they are but can't find any kind of pain relief for this, do you experience the same? If so what treatment have you found effective?

i had a huge needle phobia until the nerve blocks after that realise no where else can be as bad

Sophie
