Hi there folks.

I hope this finds you all as pain and trouble free as possible!

I am 16 weeks into my first bout. I have Sumatriptan (AMAZING!) and Oxygen (Also AMAZING!), so treatment works 95% of the time... a figure I can live with!

However, 16 weeks down the line I am still getting between 14 and 18 attacks each week, ussually 2-3 per day.

What I want your opinion on (I am seeing Neuro again soon!) is do you think I am chronic?

Cheers folks

Chris. Episodal cluster headaches can go on for ages, I'm Episodal and my last bout was 9 months with a 2 week remission. Chronic is pretty much all the time, year after year.
Here's hoping it ends soon.

Congrats Mike. I would've just slept those 6 months.
REM sleep was almost scary after my, relatively short, 9 months.
Took a while to get used to the confused waking from deep sleep again.

Thanks Phil, not something that derserves congratulations for :)

In latter years I really did find sumatriptan before sleeping a godsend.
