Hi Peter,

When you say you have bought Imigran OTC in Spain, do you mean the injections or the tablet form?

Because i don't think you can get the injections OTC in Spain, let alone in the UK?  I've done a quick check online and you would more than likely need a prescription.  Don't know how long you are going for, but could you not take your own supplies with you?  Does oxygen work for you?  You should be able to arrange oxygen in Spain through your home oxygen company in the UK, just give four weeks notice to the oxygen company, give them your holiday address and it should be waiting for you when you get there.  Other strategies might be a short course of high dose steroids to get you through your holiday.  I don't know your CH/health history, so these suggestions might be out ot order, but as always be guided by your neurologist and/or GP.

Hope the sun shines for  you!

Val.

Hi Val and thank you.

I have bought tablets there before but not injections.  We are thinking (only) of moving to Spain !! and so I am just thinking ahead.

I would probably get prescriptions there but would have to contribute.

Still working on my GP regarding oxygen  :)

Injectable Sumatriptan only available in Hospitals -  not an approved medication in Spain so not available OTC
