The Professor spoke about this at the Cambridge meeting.  It is in trials in America and as always we'll be a couple of years behind.

The concept of needle-free injection was started by a company called Powderject (formerly Cortecs) in conjunction with Oxford university back in the 90s.I actually bought shares in Cortecs and managed to get most of my money back before it went belly-up.

I heard about needle free injections  back in  1966 and tried to purchase shares. I  tried to buy shares from a Mr Eugene Wesley Roddenberry who was based in Los Angeles, California. He told me it was fiction and there was more chance of manned space flights through the universe than a likelihood to purchase needle free injections. He went on that it would be many years, maybe some time in 2364 before they were available. One crumb of comfort from Mr Roddenbury, he did suggest there was a Dr. Leonard H. McCoy working on on it and was making some progress.
