Hello all. I'm episodic - have been for 30 years. I only recently became aware of this relatively new drug, Galcanezumab - brand name Emgality.

I believe it is approved in the UK for migraine. I also believe it is approved in America for cluster headaches. But can it be prescribed in the UK for cluster headaches?

Would like to go to my GP with good information, as they generally seem to know less than me!

According to NICE, it's available from your GP for migraine in the UK.

A Neurologist specialising in CH and other TACs might prescribe the drug, if they felt it could help.
