From the bottom up... Leo, Lucy and Mole!!  Sadly Leo passed away at Christmas- I was devastated- he was such a big squishy. However in the next few days, the girls are getting a new boyfriend, and we are all very excited.

All my furry family are rescue rats from NottsNibblers, who do great work taking in unwanted, or badly treated rats, mice, gerbils degus etc. Have a look at their Facebook page (or for those who cant- their website)!!

Although they are only small, these little creatures have kept me going when I have been at rock bottom and so are treated like royalty!

And yes, they are all snuggled up in an old bra!

This is Boots. We had two kittens to begin with but sadly, Felix went missing.

Harriet. Click the coloured square third from right above where you type. This will open a window. Click browse. This gives you the choice to go into your documents/photos. Choose photo then in top left corner click upload. Once photo appears go back up to the top and click insert where there's a green tick. I hope my instructions help. Good luck!

You might not like ratties so much if you owned this pesky little Mole. I wandered off fo a cuppa and got distracted. When I returned an hour later this was the result. Just look at my ***** sofa!!!

That brought back memories! Before her stroke and moving to a care home, my Mum had a succession of pairs of rats, and I well remember the highly entertaining phone calls with the latest exploits.... Usually involving wires, soft furnishings, curtains, or clothes! but then Mum used to keep her ratties 'free range' mostly so they had a ridiculous amount of opportunity. But they were lovely, sweet and real characters.

And the reason my Border Terrier is not on here yet is because I am so rubbish at tech stuff....

I have impressed myself by getting as far as uploading a photo onto the image thingy, but haven't yet sussed out how to get it to actually turn up on here. 

Does anyone know if that is because I am on an ipad...? Should I try it on an actual computer instead?

Hellooo,

Click on the image button (3rd from the right). This opens up a new window. - file browser.

Click the upload button on the bar at the top. Another box opens. Click BROWSE. This will take you to the saved files on your hard drive. Click on the one you want and then 'open'. The URL (name) should appear in the box next to browse. Then click the upload button below the URL box. Your picture should appear on the right hand side under file name.

Once its done go back to the top bar and click Insert File and Bob as they say is your flying dutchman. Its not as complicated as it looks once you are in there!

Be aware that there is a limit on the size of pictures - 1MB - so if its big  it wont upload and then you have to go through the rigmarole of reducing your file size by cropping bits off or saving it in a less high quality format. (The Art Attack series went through this tiresome process). I managed this by trial and error, several cups of tea and a lot of profanity!!

The ipad isn't quite the same, but I had another go and got it to begin to upload. It then said it failed because the file was more than 1mb...... Which I can't understand because my ipad says the file is 73kb. 

Might have a go later on Pete's computer. Maybe it is an ipad issue.

Here is Lucy and Moles' new boyfriend. Notts Nibblers named him Terry which is a great name,but also my fathers name,which I felt might confuse my elderly mother  ("Terry's going to the vet","Terry has nibbled the wires", "Lucy has been licking Terrys'....." you get the picture).

He has big teeth, silvery fur and is a powerfully-built chap. He has also spent the last 24 hours asleep so his official title is:

" His Royal Laziness, Freddie Terry Mercury-Bear".  Or Fredbear if its easier! :-)

Well I've tried on my husbands computer, and I've followed the very clear description from Miss Kitty.... and it all goes wrong at the point where I am supposed to click 'Insert File' I cannot find that command anywhere!

I think I'm going to get the Cisco Kid (i think that will only amuse the  older ones amongst us and anyone else would have to google it) ie my son in law who works for Cisco and can usually solve my computer difficuties with a couple of clicks and a wryly raised eyebrow in his mother in law's direction.

Youre mot going mad. The Insert File command seems to disappear every now and then!

To get round it until its fixed (must post a tech), once you have your picture in File Browser you can either cut and paste it  directly into your new comment box (this box) or you can cut and paste the URL into the Browse Server box in image properties and OK it.  Either seems to work.

Been trying to post on this thread for several days now!  I have a lovely pic of my dog Bracken to share but it will not search my files just the server!! Oh well I will keep trying!

I've lost the icons above the text box so can't put any photos on at the mo. Will mention it to Lena in the technical bit.

Ahhh... what a beautiful selection of furry friends. Look forward to seeing more once these technical issues are resolved!!

He's one handsome dude. I'm very pleased to say that there is now a lady frog in the vicinity!

I have replaced the bucket with a "water feature" (ie the bucket has been sunk into the ground and filled with water) and Mr Froggy seems very content indeed.
