VERY high-flow oxygen!

https://youtu.be/eFLbW1hBC4I

By popular demand (Darren H!) here is a link to a  video of me and my Old Man having the best time EVER! With a wind-spped around 150mph, it certainly clears the tubes.

Unfortunately, I cant work out how to use my video-editing thingy, so its quite long, however we appear in the video at around3:15 to 5:45, 22:30 and 25:00minutes. I'm the poor old dear in the red hat and shoes. (I'm struggling a bit as I had a stiff shoulder and couldnt get my arms in the right position to achieve full lift off)!

We will be having another go at this very soon! I just want to show that it IS possble to still have a life with this condition.

Its called Bodyflight. We zipped down the M1 to Bedford to do it.

We saw the Lovely Professor Brian Cox doing it on one of his Worthy and Educational programes and Darryl said "Wow, I'd love to try that". So when it came to a memorable 50th birthday gift for him..........

I bought a couples voucher as I rather fancied it myself (and hoped to bump into the Lovely Professor), and have to say that its the most adrenaline high I've has since Bucks Fizz won Eurovision!

Its really quite safe and I had the bonus of being manhandled into position by a rather niceyoungman. (Which at my age is worth the entrance fee on its own). )

Planning on doing it again in the summer!!

Well Darren, it isn't for me AT ALL so don't get ideas. Pete however, says that while he wouldn't jump out of a plane, that looks fantastic and he would do it. Personally I spend my life trying to avoid adrenalin rushes, I'm happy with calm fun and lots of laughs!

I'm like Harriet, I'm happy on terra firma the most adrenaline rush I get these days is watching some other silly so and so doing something that would scare me rigid!

Interestingly though, on days when I am ultra busy and the adrenaline is flowing, the beast gets out of the way, but as soon as the situation/busy bit is over I get absolutely hammered by an attack!  However taking adrenaline tablets is not the answer to CH, too much adrenaline will kill you!

:)
