Doctor's appointment

Hi just returned from doc's appointment looks like i'm gonna be on blood pressure meds for life need to have an ecg first though, amazing thing is i asked for oxygen and with no questions asked doc agreed to prescribe it if i werent head over heels in love with a special lady in my life woulda given my current gp a smoochy kiss but would just have felt guilty ;) will stick with her though as i don't feel fobbed of by her.

How very nice to hear of a GP that seems to understand the problem!

Not sure if she actually quite understands the problem or if it's because she took the time to read the notes from the migraine clinic or due to the fact i have some other issues going on aswell but what matters most is it's prescribed now so will go on gp records as one of my medications.

:) It's great when you get a GP who takes the time to read up on the condition and prescribe the necessary.  Your supplier should send you a non-rebreather mask with your 02 delivery.  You can't take 02 onto a plane but can pre-arrange with your supplier to have 02 delivered to your destination.  Give them a ring and they'll give you all the info on this.

A bit surprised to find that my gp have referred me to queens square but to this dr koepp rather than to dr mataru thankfully though I'm due to see the dr at the national migraine clinic at the end of next week so will enquire about being referred to prof goadsby at kings
