over a year ago or more on the prev ouch web several people were having DBS then it all went quiet when the new ouch web was put up and running.
I was wondering if the reader from London Ontario and dave the tractor driver [I think from essex] are getting on with their DBS or anyone else.
courious as to feedback has it been a good result or disappointment.

PermalinkI had a DBS put in in 2012
I had a DBS put in in 2012 and it took about a year to get the settings right, a matter of trial and error. I then went for a whole year without a headache until January of this year. Unfortunately the headaches started to come back and by March I was having up to 14 a day. Since then I have had adjustments to the settings and am trialling a vagal nerve stimulator which has brought the number of headaches down to 5 in 24 hours. Still not as good as I'd like but an improvement. I have everything crossed that it will improve even more.

BAZ thanks for posting, I am sure that clusters have a way of getting round preventative measures what ever works only seems to be temporary and with me migraines take up the void till the clusters return.
