Heart over head!

Hi folks,

Not sure how many people on here will remember me (I joined back in 2005 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer), but thought I would update those who do. I've been in remisssion since having a nerve block in July last year. I'd been seeing the Great Nick Silver Smile and was listed to trial Gammacore when the beast returned. That's the good news ---the bad news is that I had a heart attack at work in November! I was rushed to Manchester Royal Infirmary where I had 2 stents put in & am now recovering really well.

I'm just praying the Beast stays away coz I've never really got on with oxygen, and that I don't have any chest pain coz I'm reluctant to use a GTN spray (for obvious reasons).

I've been wondering if anyone else out there has been in the same position?

Oh Heather,

Sorry to hear about what is happening to you, and yes I do remember you and what you went through.  I have got to say trying out all the departments in he NHS is very over rated!!!! Wink Pleased you are recovering and pray you don't need to use the GTN!!!!

Take care

Liz
