A Possible Treatment That Seems To Have Worked For Me

I thought some of you might find my story interestng.

I have suffered from Cluster Headaches for 8 or 9 years. They started suddenly and for the first few years were classic episodic clusters.  The bouts would start in May and finish in September /October .  I would have 2 or 3 severe attacks a day.

I was diagnosd quickly by my GP and have seen several consultants.  My  treatments have been Steroids, Verapimal Epilim also using Zomig and Oxygen durng attacks.

Then 3 years ago things got worse.  The Clusters became chronic and until a couple of months ago were continuous.

I tried everything and frankly the drugs did not really work.  I was also suffering significant side effects from the drugs.

Then I came across a website in the USA called Clusterbusters.  They say there is evidence that magic mushrooms in very low doses can work.

I spoke to  homeopath friend of mine who was able to prescribe me low doseage pills .  Two months later I still get shadows but the headaches are gone.  I had to stop all the drugs and just use oxygen during attacks. The process was very gradual in that the attacks initially became less intense and then less frequent.

Of course this could all just be coincidence but after 3 years of continual headaches it seems to me the mushroom pills did work.

Bit worried by the fact that magic mushrooms are an illegal drug in The UK. Also if you ever ask the specialists neurologists over here they always quote their experience of paranoia in their patients who have used “alternative” drugs. I would suggest your homeopath, assuming he is UK based, is taking a risk too. With regard to the possibility of you going from chronic to episodic I have had a similar pattern after 25 years of chronic when I used ultra-high flow Oxygen. Took some months but I went episodic. However on balance I think it was a coincidence but maybe…

Yes, not only are magic mushrooms now deemed illegal in the UK (even those that grow naturally), but so is anything that contains the active ingredients; psilocybin and psilocin.  Where on earth did your homeopath source them?

I know they are illegal here even though they grow in the wild.  However all I can say is the illegality was the least of my worries and  I don't know where the were sourced .

The dose was very small and I did not experience any "effects" at all.

The Clusterbuster website is interesting and it is worth a visit. It is run by USA doctors and the evidence they publish on there whilst not conclusive by any means is  interesting

you are kind of preaching to the converted mate,

most ,if not all of us know about clusterbusters.

some even follow there methods and have great sucess others just prefer the pharmacutical rubbish that requires your heart to be monitored.

the puzzling thing about your post is that a homeopath(whatever one of them is)gave it toyou.

boy you dropped lucky.
