Joe's Manchester Half Marathon OUCH Fundraiser
I have lived with cluster headaches for two decades, but for 19 of those years, I had to navigate the relentless pain without a name for what was happening. It wasn't until last year that I finally received an official diagnosis after discovering OUCH.
Attending my first OUCH conference was a complete turning point. For the first time, I had access to vital information about effective treatments, the right medications to advocate for, and how to communicate clearly with my GPs. The support, guidance, and community OUCH provides have been genuinely life-changing.
Now, I'm taking on the Manchester Half alongside a close friend to give back. Training hasn't been easy, my latest bout of cluster headaches began at the end of May, turning training into a real mental and physical battle. But no matter how tough it gets, we are determined to cross that finish line.
Every penny raised goes directly to OUCH so they can continue providing a lifeline, expert guidance, and hope to others living with cluster headaches.
If you are able to donate or share this page with others, your support would make a big difference. Thank you for helping!
