Dance in support of OUCH
Cluster headache is an extremely painful condition that has a profound effect on people's lives. Getting a diagnosis often takes a long time, finding effective treatments can be difficult, and treatments that previously worked can fail. Moreover, there is little awareness and often little understanding, which can lead to a lack of accommodations and to people's experiences being belittled and dismissed.
This month, to mark the Cluster Headache Awareness Day, I am raising funds for OUCH – Organisation for the Understanding of Cluster Headache, a charity that supports cluster headache sufferers. Someone very dear to me lives with this condition and OUCH has been an invaluable resource for me to understand what they go through and learn how to support them better.
Come and join me on Cardiff University Heath Park campus on Wednesday, 18th March, for a short, fun dance session during which we'll go through some basic tango steps and dance to a song. You can find me in the Medicentre street between 8.30 am and 1.30 pm and in the IV Lounge (Neuadd Meirionnydd) between 2 and 5.30 pm.
Please use this page to donate, and spread the word!
Thank you.
