Hi all, this may go on for a bit so I'll apologise now.When i was 14 i think was the first recollection of an Episodic cluster headache, although back then not diagnosed as such and not severe as when i got older. Some time later when I was diagnosed i was offered various treatments, which I won't go into now. Suffice to say i was later prescribed sumatriptan injection and oxygen, both a great help. Let me say the company who supply the oxygen ( vivisol ) are brilliant, much praise on them. Anyway my episodic was the usual winter season any time from October to March for about 3 months, with occasional remission for 1 or 2 years. But this year i started late February and am now in my 5th month which makes me worry i am becoming chronic, i hope not. I do have an neurology appointment in August and hope for the best. Lastly, when i last asked for supply of oxygen the lady spoke to did say that more cluster sufferers have been asking for oxygen in the summer months this year, i found that interesting. I never have them in summer months until now, so I'm not the only one this year, although i would not wish it on anyone.
